He pointed out that the problem is not bonuses or incentives, but that you do not have the administrative capacity to check where things are not going.

The director of the Romanian Post also gave an example of bonuses, showing that the Romanian Post reads counters, and the employees earn one leu for each reading, so that there are around 1,000 employees who receive between 300 and 500 lei net.

Valentin Ştefan also gave an example of a big bonus, showing that a colleague from Bucharest, who asked to read meters, worked in the evening and on weekends, and managed to earn about 6,000 lei gross, given that he has a salary somewhere at 2,600 or 2,700 lei.

Regarding the lack of staff, Valentin Ştefan said that “I am in the process of changing generations”.

We have to think about bringing people in the company “, he said, pointing out that there is a lack of staff, especially in urban areas, Timisoara, Bucharest, Cluj, Constanta Craiova. “They do not want to work, not at the post office, but on low salaries, this is the structural problem of the company,” said the company’s director, stating that the salaries are the same in urban and rural areas.
