There are 185,715 deaths from COVID; 2,455,095 vaccines have been administered

With 458 new deaths registered, Mexico reached 185,715 deaths from COVID. According to the federal Ministry of Health, there are an estimated 51 thousand 29 active cases (2%).

Authorities estimate that 2 million 281 thousand 355 cases of COVID have been registered as of this Sunday, 2 thousand 654 more than this Saturday, and one million 633 thousand 900 people have recovered.

At the national level, the occupation of beds for general hospitalization is 29%, with 22 thousand 437 available and 9 thousand 104 occupied.

Mexico City (53%) and Puebla (50%) are the entities with the highest hospital occupancy.

The occupancy of beds with a fan nationwide is 33%, with 7,525 available and 3,640 occupied.

Mexico City (57%) and Colima (43%) are the entities with the highest percentage.

This February 28, 55 thousand 55 vaccines were applied. Until this Sunday, 2 million 455 thousand 95 doses have been applied throughout the country, and one thousand 883 were lost.

One million 119 thousand 171 older adults have been vaccinated against COVID with the first dose.

753 thousand 38 members of the health personnel have also been vaccinated with the first dose, and 565 thousand 423 have received the complete scheme of two applications.

There are 17,463 teachers who have received the first dose of the vaccine.

The Ministry of Health reported in Press conference that has registered 9,699 cases of events supposedly attributable to vaccination, of which 57 (1%) were reported as serious. 14 people remain hospitalized.

Of the reported cases, 9,411 were from the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, 284 from AstraZeneca and 4 from Sputnik V.
