Then the next part of the Final Fantasy VII remake will be released

In connection with its 25th anniversary celebration of Final Fantasy VII, Square Enix has revealed that the next game in the remake of the classic role-playing game, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, will be released next winter.

Like the Final Fantasy VII Remake from 2020, the game will be console-exclusive to Playstation 5. It will continue where the Final Fantasy VII Remake ended.

Square Enix also revealed that Rebirth will be the second game in a planned remake trilogy of Final Fantasy VII. When the third game will be released and what it will be called is currently unknown, but the development of it should have begun.
