Dozens of young and old, minors and even women accompanied by their children have indulged in an incredible lynching against unarmed and disillusioned breeders. Some have justified the theft of sheep by their excessive prices. The only explanation for this kind of inhuman act is neither the price nor the vulnerability, but a structural crisis of values amplified by a failing education system and a resignation from the role of the “family”, supposed to be the central core. of the society.
In any case, several of these “fanatics” were arrested following these incidents. “The security operations carried out on Thursday by the services of the Hay Hassani security district in Casablanca resulted in the arrest of 20 individuals, including eight minors, for their alleged involvement in acts of violence, theft and throwing of stones in a cattle market in the Azmat region, in the city ring road, ”said a press release from the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN).
The latter adds that the nature and motives of these acts are the subject of research and investigations, noting that the interventions made it possible to arrest several individuals involved in these criminal acts and to restore order in the market.
