The restrictions will not affect professional or performance sports too much. It was a huge boulder rolled from its chest by registered athletes and their coaches. In the course of the last few days, they have slowly come to terms with the scenario from the spring, when sports life in the country was stopped. however, they gratefully accepted the minister’s statement.
“It’s good, we can play sports, it’s the best for children’s health,” responded FC HK Women football coach Jakub Novický. “That children can play sports is great,” agrees Mountfield Hradec Králové youth coach Martin Stehno.
Trainings and matches will run according to the schedule. Nevertheless, there will be two limitations. Matches will be without spectators. But some clubs have been practicing this since August. For example, judo or hockey coaches did not let the parents of small athletes into halls and gyms.
The second snag is the limited number of participants per match. Players, coaches, implementation teams and sports staff must fit up to 130 people. For a regular football or volleyball match, this is no problem, but in the case of children’s tournaments, it will be a problem.
However, the situation with unregistered sports is completely different. There can be a maximum of ten people in the hall, twenty outside. This regulation will also apply from Monday and for a period of two weeks.
Others who will be affected by the planned measures will be singers, actors and theater performers. Theaters and cinemas will work, but spectators are not allowed to consume drinks and food and there must be a maximum of 500 people in the hall. Concerts, opera, musical – productions where they are sung will be canceled for 14 days. Because the virus is said to spread faster by singing.
