Theater Haarlem is fined for a full house of Theo Maassen, ‘citizens want to pay’ | Inland

According to the current corona measures, theaters are allowed to fill a maximum of two thirds of the hall with visitors. A spokesperson for the municipality of Haarlem said that 110 seats were already occupied on Friday, more than the maximum allowed 80 visitors. During Thursday’s try-out, all 120 seats were occupied. The visitors had to show their CoronaCheck app.

Friday’s show also went ahead and was completely sold out.

Radio station 100% NL already announced on Thursday that listeners want to pay the fine together. When the fine falls on the mat, the radio station connects the listeners and the theater. Theo Maassen’s manager says he does not want to respond to the situation. The comedian has said that he is behind the action of the theater.
