Theater – Freiburg im Breisgau – Freiburg audience donates 115,000 euros to the theater – culture

Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – During the forced closure caused by the coronavirus, the Freiburg theater received donations of € 115,000 from the audience. This was a sign of solidarity with the culture and a great help, said the municipal theater on Monday. Spectators donated or waived, among other things, the reimbursement of tickets and subscriptions and thus supported the theater financially. The money can now alleviate corona consequences and support the artistic work. The three-division house in Freiburg was closed in mid-March due to the corona virus. It has now reopened with a restricted game schedule.
