The meeting of the clinical committee that advises the Xunta de Galicia has concluded this Tuesday around 10:30 p.m. and has decided maintain the measures decreed last Friday, that include the perimeter closure of the seven large Galician cities and some neighboring municipalities, as well as that of Vimianzo (A Coruña) and the regions of O Carballiño and Verín.
The Galician Health Service (Sergas) has advanced that the measures will be valid until this Friday and that, in addition, they will continue to make decisions “in the coming days”.
The perimeter closure of the seven Galician cities and other areas was announced last Friday just three hours after its publication in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG), in which, although a specific duration was not established, it was determined that the measures “They will be reviewed in a maximum period of seven days.”
In this way, the situation will continue as before, with a perimeter closure between Santiago, Ames and Teo, between Ferrol, Fene, Narón and Neda, between La Coruña and Arteixo, between Pontevedra, Poio and Marín, and in Vigo, Lugo, Vimianzo and O Barco de Valdeorras, while entering Orense and Barbadás, between O Carballiño, O Irixo and Boborás and between Verín, Oímbra and Vilardevós.
In all these areas meetings between non-partners are prohibited.
