The device is equipped with a 1.47-inch AMOLED display, which has a classic, round design. The panel boasts a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels and a maximum brightness of 600 nits, and a sapphire crystal coating tries to ensure protection against scratches.
Those who live an active life will probably find what they are looking for when wearing the Watch S1 Pro, as the device provides 117 sports modes, heart rate measurement, step counting, blood oxygen level measurement, sleep monitoring and stress level tracking.
The watch is also equipped with a microphone and speaker, so it can receive and initiate calls via Bluetooth connection with the help of a paired smartphone. The device is equipped with a Bluetooth 5.2 modem, but it also supports Wi-Fi connection, plus it has built-in navigation.
A battery with a capacity of 500 mAh was squeezed into the compact metal housing, which, according to Xiaomi, can provide 14 days of operation with a single charge under typical use. If we push the watch harder, 10 days of operation is still easily achieved. The Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro will be available in black and silver, for now, of course, only for Chinese customers, who will have to pay 222 dollars (approx. HUF 85,000) in local currency. International distribution has not yet been discussed.
Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro
The newly presented earphones can be considered the continuation of last year’s Buds 3T Pro, that is, this is what Xiaomi offers if we want to buy high-end wireless earphones from them. Inside the headphones, dynamic drivers with a diameter of 11 mm are used, the Bluetooth 5.3 wireless standard is supported, and active noise filtering is also supported. Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro also supports SBC, AAC and LDHC 4.0 codecs, as well as 96 kHz HD audio output.
Each tiny earphone is equipped with 3 microphones, including a bone hearing sensor, which contributes to optimal sound recording. The earphones can be connected to two devices simultaneously, and control is done with the pressure-sensitive stems, with simple touches you can switch between tracks or adjust the volume. The earbuds also come with a case that can be used for both storage and charging, and all are IP54 rated, which means they are limited in their resistance to water and dust.
If the active noise filtering is not turned on, the built-in battery allows 9 hours of listening to music, which can be increased to 38 hours using the power bank capabilities of the case. The Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro will be available in black and gold colors, at a price of approximately 163 dollars (approx. HUF 62,000) in yuan. The distribution has already started in China, but as in the case of the above smartwatch, the manufacturer’s staff did not mention global sales this time either. We hope that somehow both devices will reach beyond the borders of the People’s Republic.
