The WvS-Realschule Gladbeck presents a film

In times of distance learning, the school not only wants to focus on imparting knowledge, but also on maintaining relationships.

The Werner-von-Siemens-Realschule Gladbeck relies on addressing the students with a film in Corona times, when teaching is done at a distance. Headmaster Daniel Kroll: “It is child-friendly and takes up the idea of a relationship – a thought that, in my opinion, falls by the wayside in this time of distance learning.”

It’s also about an emotional decision. “With the awareness that school does not end with the transfer of knowledge, but rather is a place that will shape long-term memories, we are currently cultivating the aspects of relationship didactics,” says Kroll. The film offers an insight into the school operation, as interested parents and children cannot visit the facility due to the current corona protective measures.
