According to Heureka’s data analyzes, the Czechs will be looking for robots for smoothies, coffee machines, aroma lamps, game consoles under the tree this year, and the Lego kit will be a hit with children’s gifts.

Five to ten thousand crowns for gifts

36 percent of Czechs plan to spend five to ten thousand crowns on Christmas presents, a quarter of people plan to spend three to five thousand crowns aside, the survey showed. According to Braverman, however, the real spending of Czechs for Christmas presents will be a little lower than the declared ones due to the situation.

In addition to inventing Christmas presents, Czechs do not even care about cleaning for Christmas, 26 percent of respondents do not like it. Visits were described as 12% by Christmas as the least popular Christmas activity. A smaller number of Czechs are bothered by wrapping gifts, baking cookies or singing carols.

According to Heureka, the Christmas season, which will be affected by the coronavirus pandemic this year, could increase the year-round turnover of e-shops by more than 30 percent compared to last year.
