Also on Sunday, the athletes had to fight on the sloping track.

The victory was won by Ekstrems, who started from the second row and entered the “joker” lap in the first lap. It paid off for him in the penultimate fifth lap, when the “joker” had to be used by the leader of the race Christofeshson, who after doing it returned to the track behind his compatriot’s back and in the last lap could not overtake Ekström.

The third to cross the finish line was another Swedish Kevin Hansen, the fourth was Timo Schneider from Germany, the fifth was another home Robin Lāšons, and the sixth was Norwegian Andreas Bakurūds.

After the finish, a five-second penalty was given to the first-stage winner Christophesson, who relegated to third place.

After two stages in the overall standings of the world championship, the leader with 56 points is the two-time world champion Kristofešsons, further with 54 points is Ekstrems, but 36 points have been accumulated by Lāšons.

It has already been reported that the Latvian pilot will not start in the first two weekends of the World Championship Jānis Baumanis.

One week later, two more stages will take place in Finland, but on September 19 and 20, two stages will take place in Latvia. Next, sections are planned in Belgium, Portugal, Spain and Germany.
