The world is moving towards an all-encompassing health gap

More and more countries are imposing new requirements for indoor admission

The health (sanitary, safe), green pass, card, certificate, vaccination passport – known by various names, is increasingly settling in the lives of many countries. It is clear from his name that without him there will be no entry to the places designated by the authorities.

There is a growing number of countries where a vaccine or a negative coronavirus test will be required to access cinemas, restaurants, museums and other indoor spaces.

The omission certifies a complete vaccination, illness or a negative coronavirus test result.

France gave the reason: because of the appearance of a “virus that infects in a flash” and adopted one of the strictest anti-epidemic measures in Europe.

In our country such certificates are issued, but not yet with the severity of a pass. With the strengthening of the Delta wave, in a month or two, however, the health “pass” will certainly be activated. For example – a requirement for 100% of the staff of the establishments to be vaccinated (this is set as an option in the health strategy).

The situation is such that countries, a magnet for Europeans, are the first to make health care mandatory.

And the tension among the people is growing – there are protests and clashes in many places.

Germany

All those arriving in Germany from abroad will have to prove immunity against Covid-19 from vaccination or illness this weekend or provide a negative test, government sources said, quoted by Reuters and BTA.

The decision came amid growing concerns from German officials at regional and national level that increasing morbidity in tourist destinations could lead to a fourth wave of infection through Germans returning from holiday.

At present, Germany requires a negative test or proof of immunity only from those arriving from so-called risk areas, areas with high morbidity and areas with the spread of more dangerous variants of the virus, which include the United Kingdom, Spain and the Netherlands.

In addition, the rules are currently applied differently at airports and land borders, and therefore the prime ministers of the German provinces want a more consistent approach.

Greece

Although it does not use the name pass, Greece has the same requirements set out in it.

Arriving in the country must have either a negative PCR certificate from a laboratory test performed no later than 72 hours before arrival, or a negative (rapid) test taken no later than 48 hours before arrival. This test is mandatory for all tourists (including children over 12 years), regardless of the epidemic situation in the country of departure.

US borders remain closed to international travelers, even if they are vaccinated and tested

Proof of a negative test is not required for all travelers who have completed the vaccination (ie 14 days have passed since the last dose of vaccine, depending on the required doses) and have a vaccination certificate.

The European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) today placed the Greek islands in the southern Aegean Sea in the “dark red zone” in terms of the risk of infection following an increase in conoravirus cases in the region, Reuters reported.

This means that travel is not recommended except for compelling reasons.

The group of 13 islands includes the most popular destinations for foreign tourists – Mykonos, Santorini and Rhodes, which attract millions of visitors each summer.

The “dark red” zone serves to mark areas of very high risk and serves the EU Member States to introduce mandatory travel testing and quarantine on their return.

Elefteros Tipos reports that the “yellow zone” includes Greek Thrace, the country’s central regions and islands in the northeastern Aegean Sea. The rest of Greece is in the red or dark red zone.

Italy

The country is expensive for holidays and will make travel even more difficult with the introduction of the so-called health pass for access to restaurants, and the unvaccinated will be required to be examined every two days.

Italy has entered the fourth wave of coronavirus infection, ANSA reported. This is the conclusion of experts from the independent health foundation Jimbe (Gimbe).

The weekly report of the foundation, which monitors the development of coronavirus infection in the country, says that between July 21 and 27, deaths with Covid-19 in Italy increased by 46 percent after a 15-week decline. Thus, the victims of the virus have become 111 compared to 76 in the previous period. The number of newly infected has increased by 64.8 percent during the study period and reached 31,963 compared to 19,390 in the previous period.

The report says there is a 42.9 percent increase in the number of people in self-isolation due to virus infection, a 34.9 percent increase in the number of hospitalized coronavirus patients, and a 14.5 percent increase in covid intensive care units.

France

The new law on the expanded use of the sanitary pass in France will enter into force on August 9. The Constitutional Council is still expected to rule on it, after it was approved by parliament earlier this week.

The pass (negative coronavirus test, full vaccination cycle certificate or Covid-19 certificate) from July 21 is used in cultural and entertainment venues where more than 50 people gather. Now its application will be expanded in restaurants, cafes, exhibitions, fairs, long-distance trains, domestic flights. Holders of plane or train tickets who take a test to include the data in the pass and who find themselves infected will get their money back for the unused ticket.

Slovakia

A law approved by parliament on Sunday and signed by President Zuzana Chaputova on Monday facilitates access to public places and public events for people who have been vaccinated against Covid-19. Those who have not been vaccinated should have coronavirus tests.

Hundreds of anti-law protesters blocked traffic in central Bratislava on Thursday.

Small groups of protesters began gathering in the square in front of Chaputova’s residence in the morning, and the number increased during the day. The protest passed without violence, but hindered street traffic. However, the police did not take measures to disperse the gathered.

A similar protest took place last Friday in front of the Slovak parliament. Anti-riot forces then used tear gas against people who blocked the facility’s entrance and pelted the building with eggs.

Israel

Israel has returned the so-called green pass as of today due to the growing number of new cases of coronavirus, DPA reported.

People over the age of 12 who want to participate in mass events with more than a hundred people will need to provide a certificate that they have been vaccinated, have had Covid-19 or have a negative coronavirus test.

This rule applies to sporting and cultural events, as well as gyms, restaurants, conferences and prayer houses.

The green pass, which brought relief to those vaccinated and those who fell ill, was introduced in Israel in February. However, after a significant drop in morbidity, most health restrictions were lifted.

A team of experts has recommended a third booster vaccination for the elderly, the health ministry said. From Sunday, people over 60 in Israel will be able to receive a third dose.

The reason for this was the data, according to which the effectiveness of the Pfizer / Biontech vaccine used in Israel has decreased sharply since the beginning of June.

According to the ministry, vaccination prevents only 39 percent of coronavirus infections and 91 percent of severe forms of the disease.

At the same time, the more contagious version of the coronavirus Delta is spreading in Israel, the ministry said.

However, government experts criticized the data on the grounds that it had not been collected scientifically.
