The World Ends with You is finally getting a sequel

It was a hit with critics: The World Ends with You on Nintendo DS. A special story, unique fighting mechanics and the busy shopping streets of Shibuya resulted in unprecedented high scores. After a re-release on Switch in 2018, it is now time for a sequel under the title: NEO: The World Ends with You.

From the trailer below, little can be concluded about the story and we see a lot of similarities with the original. However, this time everything takes place on one screen and you move through the world in three dimensions. A world in which a very sinister game is still being played. A game in which the protagonist gets involved against his will.
