How to be recognized as a disabled worker?
Recognition of the status of disabled worker (RQTH) allows:
- to benefit from advantages
- to find or keep a job.
The status of disabled worker is recognized by the Commission for the Rights and Autonomy of People with Disabilities (CDAPH).
Find all the information to be recognized as a disabled worker.
Good to know: companies with 20 or more employees are subject to an obligation to employ people with disabilities. They must employ workers with disabilities in a proportion of 6% of the total workforce or, failing that, resort to different means of substitution.

People can go to the Departmental Center for Social Action (CDAS) closest to them, to withdraw a compensation request file. CDAS reception staff can also receive their completed and signed file. And ESAT is an establishment and a work assistance service for people with disabilities.
ESAT workers are in ESAT because they cannot work in an ordinary company due to their disability.
