In the Zhytomyr region, in Korosten, the mother of the “Voice of the Country” participant Bogdan Mukha died. The tragedy also happened to the woman’s mother and sister. The son of a deceased woman told reporters about the tragedy.
“I know that my grandmother, mother and aunt ate mushrooms, they felt bad,” said Bogdan Mukha, a member of the Voice of the Country.
The boy’s mother died while working. She was caring for an elderly man. He witnessed the death of a woman. The man said that when she came to him, she already complained of poor health. She allegedly asked not to call an ambulance “hoping that it will pass by itself.” However, after a short time she died.
When the woman’s relatives, having learned about the tragedy, arrived at her place of residence, no one told them, although her mother was supposed to be there. They called rescuers and they helped open the door. In the apartment they found two more bodies – the woman’s mother and her sister.
At the same time, during the inspection of the premises, law enforcement officers found dishes with mushrooms and booze. It is believed that women could have been poisoned by the pale toadstool. Although poisoning with low-quality alcohol is also not excluded.
“For the examination, the remains of the products that these people probably consumed. These are the remains of mushrooms and liquid with the smell of alcohol in plastic bottles,” said the press secretary of the Korostetsky district police department Diana Bobrovnik.
The neighbors said that the women themselves did not go mushrooming, they were treated by a friend. But after the tragedy he was not seen.
Bogdan does not understand why none of the three adult women, at the first symptoms of poisoning, did not call an ambulance.
Law enforcers have opened criminal proceedings under the article of premeditated murder.
Recall, in the village of Krutogorb in Vinnytsia region five children were poisoned by mushrooms, two girls 4 and 12 years old died in the hospital.
