Service teams have to manage simultaneously a strong epidemic of bronchiolitis “to a new level” which generates a very high influx of small children to be hospitalized
and emphasizes the reception of pediatric emergencies as well as the pediatric service. But also, the arrival of the seasonal flu is one resumption of activity, linked to Covid-19 with a resurgence of contamination for a few days.
This is what led the plant management to activate the white planehow the university hospital of Nantes, a week ago.
The plan provides for a reorganization of the workforce in order to strengthen the functions most affected.
First, call 15 before going to the emergency room
The management recalls that it is more than ever essential to comply with the indications to allow hospital services to fulfill their missions, especially with regard to emergency reception which must focus on vital emergencies. Hence the need to call first on the 15th during the day and on weekdays and on 116 117 in the evening after 8pm and on weekends.
