After making another appearance in the finals last year, 5th in a row, the Warriors have fallen from the top this season. The franchise had to deal with Kevin Durant’s departure to Brooklyn, but also the many injuries that affected the workforce. The result ? One last place in the West with a balance of 15-50. The worst in the league.
A trip? Without a doubt. Because with the return of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson next year, it’s sure the season in San Francisco will be radically different.
Will the Dubs return to the heights of the Western conference? Or will they just be in the peloton? Difficult to know as there are questions about the integration of Andrew Wiggins for example. But an executive who confided in the Bleacher Report doesn’t seem particularly confident.
