Earlier, the head of the commission, Bezuglaya, said that the investigation did not reveal any signs of a special operation.
The head of the temporary investigative commission of the Verkhovna Rada, Maryana Bezuglaya, after a meeting on Monday, September 13, said that the operation to detain members of the Wagner PMC was organized by Ukrainian specialists, although she had previously stated that there was no operation.
Today VSK heard two intelligence officers of the Ministry of Defense, Chervinsky and Semenyuk, who participated in the preparation of the operation.
According to the officers, the People’s Deputy said, the operation was planned and implemented last summer, so it could not be sanctioned by ex-President Petro Poroshenko.
According to the materials of the commission, the operation was Ukrainian, only information was exchanged with foreign intelligence services.
Bezuglaya said that the next meeting of the commission will take place tomorrow and it is planned to hear representatives of the SBU and the Office of the Prosecutor General.
Also tomorrow there will be a presentation of the results of the SBU investigation and materials from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.
Bezuglaya also said that the VSK called the former head of the GUR Vasily Burba, but he did not get in touch.
We will remind, in August 2020, the media reported that the operation with the “Wagnerians” was organized by the special services Ukraine, but it fell through because of the “leaking” of information to the Office of the President. The Ministry of Defense denied the informationthat the appearance and detention of “Wagnerites” in Belarus is a special operation of the SBU.
