The tension rose a notch this Monday evening in the commune of Bron, east of Lyon.

For almost ten days, the police have faced numerous individuals every night who have no qualms about provoking them. Almost every time called for rodeos, officials are insulted and targeted by numerous projectiles. This was particularly the case last Wednesday when a crew had been the target of throwing stones and fireworks. A minor had been arrested and has since been referred.
And this Monday evening, the scenario was repeated again, again in the Terraillon district. Shortly after 10 p.m., the police were the target of a stone attack by around 30 people. According to our information, a police car had its window shattered by a projectile. Worse, a policeman received a stone in the face, in the jaw. He is slightly injured and is expected to receive several days of ITT. In response to these attacks, the police, who became real targets, replied with tear gas. There would have been no arrest.
An investigation should be opened to find the participants in the violence.
