Theater Villamarta has presented the advance of the 2020-21 season. Will start in September, will be more limited by the pandemic, but without giving up great titles of all genres. It will be a different season, with control of temperature in the entrances, masks and capacity reduced to 65%. The air conditioning will be permanently renewed, the theater will be disinfected for each function and there will be cleaning in the bathrooms for each use.
The season will begin in September, with a concert by the Film Symphony Orchestra Tour that could not be celebrated because of the coronavirus together with the ’20 years in the lyric ‘of Ismael Jordi.
In lyric they stand out ‘The Troubadour’, ‘The Barber of Seville’ and ‘Bernarda Alba’s house’, in collaboration with the Spanish Music Festival of Cádiz and the Cervantes Theater of Malaga; while humor will feature Yllana, from Florentino Fernandez; Jose Mota and Santiago Segura.
In the theater will be in Jerez great scene, such as Ana Belén, Aitana Sánchez-Gijón, Imanol Arias, Juan Echanove or Javier Gutiérrez.
Christmas, in addition to the classics, will be very focused on flamenco.
Precisely on February 16 will start the Jerez Festival and the emblematic dance courses, which this year are reduced to 40 given the uncertainty due to the international health crisis.
