The victims who arrive at the darkest hour and the injustice for Mexico

The dates on which Mexico will apply vaccines were announced on Tuesday, December 8, and the most pertinent thing is that this vaccination will begin with health personnel. At the same time, in poor conditions and when the darkest hour is announced in these and the days of the next month and many fall into the mockery of their own lives, the arrival of thousands of victims is announced who are expelled from the poor countries of Central America. The sad situation of Mexico, due to its proximity to the United States, is to move in the dichotomous position of helping those who arrive, with its humanitarian desire or protecting a huge population that is in the same or worse conditions than those who arrive. Apart from the poverty left by the previous governments -and whose emphasis bothers some-, the hurricanes have just left thousands of victims in the country, without sustenance and without a home, and the Covid-19 fiercely attacks various areas. What to do with these itinerant populations, many of them sick, perhaps, who will pass through our country and crowd the border in search of their American dream? The Mexican dilemma, which has to be quick, must be focused above all on our border populations, which are the hardest hit by these arrivals. Faced with this terrible situation, rich nations are contracting, taking care of their environments, setting restrictive measures and even curfews, in a world that has already been left behind by the save who can!

EXPELLERS: IRRESPONSIBLE GOVERNMENTS WITH THEIR NEOLIBERALISM IN CHARGE
As a kind of retributive justice, migrants want to claim the true culprit, which is the United States. The imperialist policies on the peoples dominated in many ways, have caused the great miseries and economic imbalances, which are now expressed. The other irresponsible, the native governments, subservient to the policies of the empire and in the application of predatory systems of concentration of wealth in a few as also happened in Mexico, ignore these expulsions and leave it to be the main victim of his servility, to a country like Mexico. Our country’s reaction must be fair and humanitarian: give entry to those who urgently need it, unfailingly respect human rights, unconditionally apply restrictive measures against Covid -19 and put the demand for a prompt settlement of the situation to the new government of Biden. In his campaign, he spoke of an immigration policy different from that of Trump. We will see if it is true.

UN: MUST INTERVENE BEFORE SERVILE EXPULSING GOVERNMENTS
The groups that are organized to travel to the United States are not spontaneous: they are organized by specialized coyotes who make a business out of the needs of these people. The organizational intention of these arrivals and the many dollars that they demand from the poor who join have been public and notorious. Now there is talk of three expelling countries that were victims of the recent hurricanes: Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. It must be remembered that in Guatemala there is a strong movement of the population to demand the resignation of President Alejandro Giammattei because he is inept and repressive: in Honduras, a country where there have been recent coups against a president who wanted to make changes, the same thing happens, with the disagreement; they are neoliberal governments of the third world that concentrate the wealth of that country among their favored. Meanwhile, a large army of the dispossessed remains that ends up migrating to the country they consider rich and powerful. On their way, they affect Mexico. The case of Nicaragua has another context, as it is a country in which a Revolution was made and the traditional dictators were expelled, in a bloody response from the United States. In this time, it has undergone a series of changes, seizures of power from the victorious army, to now be in the hands of one of the Sandinistas Daniel Ortega, who has been much questioned in recent times. In that long interval of more than 40 years, poverty has not diminished. Now it is one of the sending countries that hope to arrive in Mexico.

THE OPEN VEINS STILL CONTINUE AND AGGRAVATE WITH THE PANDEMIC
Despite the fact that its own author Eduardo Galeano recently questioned his famous book, “because it was heavy” and using an outdated leftism, Las Veins Abierto de América Latina (Fondo de Cultura Económica, 2000), the work, written in 1971, continues being a very important reference to know the forms of colonization of the imperial powers. Mostly from the United States and the United Kingdom. In that book that began in the 16th century, and which became important reading material in schools and universities, the mining operations are made known, the many riches of the earth that are accommodated to the riches produced by advances weather. Although decades have passed, the ways of colonizing only varied in their aspects, through transnational domination, concessions, subjection by power and the precarious situation in which they left many countries that have not yet been able to raise their heads. To this is added the way of acting for the most part of their governments that have created millions of impoverished with the application of capitalism and now neoliberism in its worst expressions The expulsion, then, of the poorest, occurs as a consequence. Eduardo Galeano Uruguayan writer, born in September 1940, died in April 2015.
