This is consistent with the results of a survey conducted by MarkPlus to 110 respondents, which was dominated by 61% male with the majority age group of 25 to 44 years. The respondents of this survey are dominated by 60% of the people outside Jabodetabek.

As many as 90.1% of respondents already know about the urban farming method, which is obtained 72% from the internet, 39% colleagues, 32% from the community and 32% from television. The people’s interest in urban farming is also quite high, up to 98%, although 57% of them admit that they have not done it.

As for 76.9% of respondents assessed that urban farming can encourage food security, 75.9% is environmentally friendly, and 63.9% increases economic income so that it becomes a new opportunity for people who want to do business during a pandemic.

Therefore, the government is expected to be able to see the high enthusiasm of the community by facilitating community activities in farming.

From a scale of 1 to 4, the respondent’s assessment of government support for urban farming activities is 2.21 with priority aspects from the government that are expected to be 43.6% of facilities and infrastructure, 28.2% of financing, and 16.4% of information availability. . “For example, the complete hydroponic package, which is expected to be supported by the public and private business actors,” concluded Bona.
