The University prepares for the first dance of a new academic year. After the post-Covid revolution and the months spent in smart-learning, in fact, the national admission test to degree courses in Medicine will represent the first appointment in the presence of a new course, putting not only the students to the test for the first time. students, but also the new security machine set up in these months of videolessons and exams by the Alma Mater Studiorum. The test, scheduled for Thursday 3 September and, subsequently, 10 September to access the medical course in English, will still be held at the Fair and will be carried out in the presence of all students resident in the province of the University offices.

For the moment, enrollments are more than comforting: according to the latest data from the University, there are already almost two thousand aspiring medical freshmen (almost all from the neighboring provinces of Emilia-Romagna), a figure in line with that of previous years and, above all, well beyond the expectations of the Alma Mater leaders. Which will be called to a not indifferent challenge compared to previous years, namely to ensure that the test takes place not only in a fully regular way, but also in total safety for students and technical and teaching staff on the side of the virus. A challenge that can be faced and won also thanks to the large spaces of the pavilions in via Michelino.

“We are equipping ourselves according to the hygiene, health and safety standards provided for by the protocols that have been provided to us – explains the Vice Rector of Alma Mater Mirko Degli Esposti -. We will soon make known all the details necessary for students to access the Fair carry out the test safely “. A first signal of restart for which the same speech will apply for the other national admission tests, while as regards the range of local tests and pre-tests: “Some could still be carried out remotely, but we are organizing ourselves so that from the first in September, all university activities can gradually return to being in the presence even in total safety “, concludes Degli Esposte.
