The United States has a different plan against the virus when they take off their masks

A new plan to fight the coronavirus has been announced by US President Joe Biden.

It comes after cases of infection with the Omicron variant have already been registered in the country, BTA reported. “I know that Kovid-19 is a reason for divisions in this country and this is a sad finding. This should not happen again. The moment we enter the winter and face the challenge of the new version, the time has come to try to overcome these divisions, “Biden said. The plan does not provide for lockouts. The United States will also provide another 200 million vaccination doses to other countries around the world in the next 100 days.

According to the plan, a campaign will be launched to promote vaccination and booster vaccination. Federal officials will receive paid leave to go and get boosters. Individual employers are called upon to allow the same for their workers. Vaccination clinics will be opened throughout the country, including mobile ones.

Biden’s plan also envisions masks for planes, trains and public transport until March 18.

Private health insurers will be required to reimburse people for coronavirus tests taken at home, and for people without health insurance, tests will be available free of charge at municipal testing centers. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will require of arriving international passengers to be tested for Kovid-19 the day before departure, regardless of their vaccination status, sources told Reuters. In addition, representatives of the Centers asked the airlines to disclose the names and other information about those passengers who had recently been to the eight South African countries where Omicron was first identified. These data will be provided to local and state health authorities.
