The United States has said it is aware of Russia’s next move in the war against Ukraine. It consists in the annexation of the occupied territories.

The diplomatic department warns that Russia will be waiting for a quick and strict response from the United States and allies for actions directed against the sovereignty of Ukraine.
“We are aware of Russia’s next move. Russia is laying the groundwork for the annexation of the Ukrainian territory it occupies, which is a direct violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty. If Russia continues to implement its annexation plans, we will respond quickly and strictly together with our allies and partners,” the statement said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, ISW analysts said that the Russian-backed “leadership” continues announce the dates for the seizure of new Ukrainian territories, supporting preparations for a referendum on the accession of the occupied territories to the Russian Federation.
