The U.S. Court of Appeals rejects Trump’s complaint in the Pennsylvania election case – Abroad – News

The U.S. District 3 Court of Appeals ruled similarly to other courts, stating that the Trump campaign had not provided any evidence that the election had risen.

“There are no grounds for the campaign’s allegations,” the court said.

“Free and fair elections are the lifeblood of our democracy. Allegations of dishonesty are serious. But calling elections dishonest does not remain so. We need concrete complaints and then evidence. We have neither,” said Judge Stefanos Bibass.

The plaintiff’s arguments were put forward in the lower court last week by Trumpy’s lawyer, Rudy Julian, who alleged that there was widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election in Pennsylvania.

Julian was unable to provide any tangible evidence.

U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann had stated that the error-filled complaint was “like a monster Frankenstein stitched together.” The judge did not allow Julian to correct it a second time.

The District Court found this decision well-founded.

All three judges of the panel are appointed by the Republican presidents. Judge Bibas has been appointed by Trump.

The Court of Appeal’s ruling came four days after Pennsylvania officials formally approved the count, which shows Democrat candidate Joe Biden has won 80,000 more votes than Trump.
