The Turkish Ministry of Justice responded to Kilicdaroglu’s allegations that the leader of the Gulen organization did not ask the United States.

Presidential candidate and head of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) Kemal Kilicdaroglu said on a TV program that Turkey did not request the extradition of Fethullah Gulen, as translated by the New Turk Post.

And the ministry continued in the statement: “The first extradition request was sent by the Ministry of Justice on July 19, 2016, immediately after the treacherous coup attempt on July 15, 2016, and 7 separate extradition requests were sent to the US authorities, on July 19.” 2017 and November 3, 2017.
