Now, this capture has been manipulated, crossing out some elements of the headline and subtitle (precisely those that anticipate what the text is really talking about). Also, although the article uses a photo of a person receiving a vaccine to illustrate the post, the original headline is: “Transmission from covid-19 to the fetus affects brain development and memory. In the same way, the subtitle emphasizes that “the investigation indicates that when the virus passes from mother to fetus could leave sequelae for a lifetime.
The text stresses that the study by the Institute of Neurosciences of the CSIC and the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche has focused “on determining how vulnerable the developing brain cells are al SARS-CoV-2 and how they might affect your nervous system”.
The recommendation is the opposite of what this narrative spreads: that pregnant women be vaccinated against COVID-19
