The accident happened around eleven o’clock at the 8th kilometer in the direction of Prague. “It was a cannon shot, I heard it from the window, one of the cars is on a slope off the highway,” a witness described to the news to Novinka.

“The driver of the truck crashed into a parked van on the highway from behind, then drove off the road and crashed,” police spokeswoman Eva Hašlová told Novinka.

According to her, the truck driver suffered injuries and after treatment he was taken by paramedics to a hospital in Prague. The van driver was out of the vehicle at the time of the collision and fortunately was not injured.
