It was 5:10 pm when a lady parked a vehicle not far from the Pont-à-Celles railway tracks. She then crossed the level crossing with a determined step, witnesses said. A train was unfortunately arriving at that time, honking its horn for a long time, but the impact could not be avoided. The lady died.

Police and emergency services are currently on site.

Train traffic is stopped on all line 117 Luttre-La Louvière center until further notice.
