The Tour de France awaiting new dates
According to sources close to the President of the Republic, the Tour de France is already preparing for a change. It is scheduled from June 27 to July 19, but Emmanuel Macron announced on Monday evening that there would be no events with a large audience until mid-July.
“The Tour de France wants to know the modalities of its new date before announcing any postponement (or cancellation) but it has already been clear to them for several weeks that the initial date will not be honored,” it says at l ‘Elysium.
Christian Prudhomme, the director of the Tour de France, does not want the race to take place behind closed doors. According to AFP, a departure from the Tour de France on July 25 is now the most likely.
