Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 make it big. Just over a week after the game’s launch, Activision can report that the renovation project has already reached one million copies sold.
Via Twitter, the publisher says that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 has reached the million milestone faster than any other game in the series. Activision also took the opportunity to congratulate the skate king himself, Tony Hawk, as again thanked fans for the support.

Lovely nostalgia package
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 was first unveiled in May this year. As the name suggests, the game package offers a reunion with the first two games in the skate series, with all the tracks and characters from the original editions – as well as some new faces and of course a visual facelift for the whole thing.
Our own skating expert, Håvard Hofstad Ruud, was among several critics who got excited about the renovation. In his review he boasted a lot about developer Vicarious Vicions, who has finally managed to make a Tony Hawk game that feels like a Tony Hawk game.
