Despite the challenges created by the pandemic, Credicorp Capital, a financial services company with a presence in Colombia, Chile and Peru, carried out the merger by absorption with Ultraserfinco, a commission agent with more than 50 years of history in the Colombian financial sector.
After the final approval of the Financial Superintendence, Credicorp Capital expects to continue growing with its six lines of business: private and corporate banking, capital markets, asset management, investment banking and fiduciary businesses.
The process with the Financial Superintendence of Colombia had two stages: the purchase of Ultraserfinco shares, which materialized in November 2019, and now the merger where they became a single company.
