the superb gesture of Mohamed Salah to help the hospital in his hometown

Mohamed Salah is an exceptional player. He’s also a man with a very big heart and he’s proven it again. To help in the fight against the coronavirus, the Liverpool player has decided to donate an oxygen reserve for the hospital in Nagrig, his hometown.

It’s been a little over a year since the coronavirus appeared, disrupting the lives and daily lives of millions of people. Since then, the outbursts of solidarity have multiplied in the four corners of the planet and footballers are no exception to this movement. Renowned for his generosity, Mohamed Salah did not hesitate to put his hand in the wallet to help his family.

Indeed, the Reds striker, through his association “Nagrig Charity Association”, donated an oxygen reserve for the Nagrig hospital in order to support people with Covid-19. Moreover, this institution has seen six people lose their lives as a result of the viral disease.

“He often intervenes in the problems of returning to Egypt by making a donation,” reveals Hassan Bakr, director of the association. Through his organization, the former Chelsea has also worked for the construction of an ambulance station, a school for girls, a national cancer institute among other facilities. Proof if needed was that the Liverpool striker has not forgotten where he comes from. Very high class!

Himself positive for Covid-19 at the end of November, Mohamed had however sparked a controversy in the country. A few days before this announcement, the Egyptian attended his brother’s wedding and photos showing him dancing with a mask lowered to his chin had caused a lot of talk.
