Unfortunately, insults are the order of the day on social media. Which Bundesliga professionals are hit most often?
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting of German record champions Bayern Munich is the most insulted Bundesliga pro on Twitter. The attacker has an “insult rate” of 7.3 percent. This is what the sports betting test comparison platform discovered.
To this end, about 131,000 tweets from the last two years were analyzed relating to 74 terms with negative connotations in combination with the names of a total of 505 Bundesliga professionals. The number of insults was set in relation to the total number of tweets (at least 100 or more) per person.
The VfB goalkeeper in second place behind Choupo-Moting
VfB Stuttgart goalkeeper Florian Müller (5.6%) took the inglorious second place behind Choupo-Moting. Followed by Marcel Wenig from Eintracht Frankfurt (5.3%).
Looking at the average odds per team, TSG Hoffenheim pros are often struck by derogatory tweets: 4.6% of all Kraichgauer posts contain an insult.
