The twelfth edition of the Festival 2 Cinéma de Valenciennes dedicated the cinematographic works of the students of the Jan-Lavezzari high school. During the trophy ceremony marked by a lot of emotion, the young talents from Berck received the Gold Star from the hands of the president of the jury, Gérard Krawczyk, director, actor and screenwriter, for their film Fascinated.

During the Festival 2 Cinéma Valenciennes, the Salle Gaumont welcomed three hundred high school students from the Nord and Pas-de-Calais. Having come to present their productions, i.e. six short films, they were evaluated by a jury chaired by Gérard Krawczyk (Taxi). Attracted by the acting, sometimes mischievous, sometimes sincere and touching, of the young Délia Miloudi, student in first general and by the quality of the cinematographic work of his comrades in the cinema and audiovisual option of the Jan-Lavezzari high school, he decided to award them first prize for the film Fascinated that they had created and put in competition.
This distinction is the result of the teamwork of young talents from Berck. Within the option that was created only two years ago, from the start of the school year, they had invested themselves fervently in the Cinémondes Festival. In small groups, supervised by two experienced documentary filmmakers, Zahia Yalioua and Eddy Munyaneza, using mobile phones, they made short documentaries. Five weeks later, at the end of Cinémondes, they saw their films projected on the big screen at Cinos. The quality of their work then prompted their teachers, Florian Filippi and Sylvain Boulonnais, to put two of their documentaries in competition at the Festival jeunes étoiles of the prestigious Festival 2 Valenciennes, which also recognized the nobility of their works.
