Al-Marsad newspaper: The narrator, Abd al-Rahman al-Dulaij, told, during an interview with the “Al-Ajaweed” program broadcast on the Al-Majd satellite channel, the story of an officer who helped a woman, after her husband’s death, and when she learned that she had no children, she decided to return the favor in this way.

He began the story by saying, “The officer was working in traffic, and received a report of a terrible accident involving an Egyptian family, and went to the scene of the accident, accompanied by police, civil defense and the ambulance, and when they arrived, they found the driver of the car dead, lying on the ground and covered, and his wife and their two children were injured, and the two children were screaming.” While her mother sits silent and stunned.

He continued: “The officer is married, but has had no children, and he and his wife accept the matter, but the problem is with those around them saying hurtful words to them.”

And he continued: “On the day of the accident, the officer was looking at my dead child, on their way to the father, wanting to see him, while the security and ambulance men prevented him, so he was affected by the situation, and cried”.

He added: “The officer went back to his home and told his wife the details of the incident which affected him greatly, and the next day he went back to work, then he came home and asked his wife to go with him to the hospital to provide any assistance to the two children and their mother, and indeed they went to the hospital and offered condolences to the injured woman.” And he just asked them to help her and her two sons get back to Egypt.

He noted that the officer booked tickets for the woman and her two children, and gave her an amount of 5,000 riyals, and gifts for the two children, pointing out that the Egyptian woman asked them about their children, and they they told her they had no children.

He pointed out that when the Egyptian woman returned to Egypt, she continued to communicate with the officer and his wife, then asked him to buy herbs and eat them, and to pray to God and his wife to grant her good offspring.

He added, “The officer’s wife became pregnant and they had one, two and three children,” noting that when he asked the Egyptian woman about the herbs and their effectiveness and whether this recipe was known in Egypt, she told him that this was not a recipe in the first place, but rather he investigated the times when pleas were answered and he dedicated his prayers to them.
