The State Duma responded to the Polish general about the “war for Kaliningrad”

Russian State Duma deputy Alexander Pyatikop responded to the statements of the Polish general, the former commander of the Polish ground forces Waldemar Skshipchak about the alleged NATO war with Russia for Kaliningrad.

“I regard such statements as unfriendly,” the Russian politician said, adding that the Poles are Russia’s closest neighbors and such statements do not strengthen peace between fraternal peoples.

“This, it seems to me, is an attempt to create tension at the borders and divert attention from the problems in Poland itself,” said Pyatikop.

At the same time, he assured that if we really talk about the military component, then Russia has everything it needs to ensure the safety of its citizens.

“In general, such statements are sad, incorrect and outdated,” the deputy summed up.

Previously “MK” reportedthat in an article in Defense 24 Skshipchak called the Kaliningrad region a gateway to the Baltic Sea and the Polish Lowland. He noted that the Russian army from here can quickly turn around and capture the Baltic, which will take from two to four days.
