JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Hyundai refused sale Hyundai Stargazer has continued to sag since its release in July 2022. Although mobil which was predicted to be a competitor to the Mitsubishi Xpander and Toyota Avanza, experienced a decline at the end of last year.

After that, Stargazer sales slowly slumped. In September 2022 car sell the low MPV fell to 2,839 units, then in October it fell again to 1,484 units, and the peak in November was only 824 units.
Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) Makmur said, in December 2022 Stargazer sales increased again, even up 100 percent compared to the previous month.
“Retail sales performance in November was 1,155 units, and in December it was nearly 2,700 units, up 100 percent. So sales results have increased 100 percent from November to December,” said Makmur in Jakarta, Wednesday (1/1/23).
Makmur’s statement can be called as a rebuttal that Stargazer is not selling well in the market, because Stargazer’s honeymoon period is considered to be over. In fact, after the August 2022 sale low MPV Hyundai is currently it continues to dive in the market.
Makmur also denied the allegation that Stargazer was not selling well until the dealers gave various kinds of promos to attract consumers, starting from cashback up to tens of millions of discounts.

Director Sale Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) Erwin Djajadiputra said that his party only offers programs that make it easier for consumers, one of which is cheap credit packages.
“Stargazer buyers have average credit, our credit package attracts with installments of only Rp. 6.5 million, you can get Stargazer. The credit package is to make it easier for MPVs to use Stargazer,” said Erwin.
