The DKI Jakarta Inspectorate summoned Massdes Arouffy. Apart from Massdes, the Inspectorate also summoned his wife, who was suspected of showing off her luxurious lifestyle on social media.
“We immediately moved to summon the person concerned for further investigation,” said DKI Jakarta Inspector Syaefuloh Hidayat in a written statement, Friday (31/3).
Syaefuloh explained, referring to the provisions in Government Regulation No. 94 of 2021 concerning Civil Servant Discipline, further investigations would soon be carried out by an internal team consisting of superiors, supervisory elements, and staffing elements. If it is proven that there has been a disciplinary violation, of course, sanctions will be given according to the applicable regulations.
The DKI Provincial Government, he said, is committed to preventing practices that conflict with legal values and continues to apply the values of integrity and a simple lifestyle to all DKI Jakarta Provincial Government employees.
“If it is proven that there was a disciplinary violation, of course, sanctions will be given according to the applicable provisions,” he said.
Inspectorate Checks the Authenticity of the Bag
The Inspectorate checked the authenticity of the luxury bag exhibited by Massdes’ wife. Checking conducts research as objectively as possible.
“We also don’t know the authenticity of these items and we will check them. We have to do research as objectively as possible, we have to make sure whether what is spread in the media is true, then is it true that the goods are like that, cost that much, or not? “That has to be proven first, meaning that everything is bright,” he explained.
Deden admitted that his party knew about the alleged luxurious lifestyle of the Massdes family through social media. So far, the investigation has only been carried out on Massdes. The Acting (Acting) Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono, will report the results of the inspection.
