Manchester City celebrate while having fun FC Copenhagen from Champions of La Liga. Citizens have won five unanswered goals.

Group G. third day Champions of La Liga 2022/2023 hold a duel Manchester City-Copenhagen. The match took place at the Etihad Stadium, Thursday (6/10/2022) early in the morning WIB.

Man City took a 3-0 lead at half-time thanks to a brace from Erling Haaland and an own goal from Davit Khocholava. The home team scored two goals thanks to Riyad Mahrez and Julian Alvarez.

This result put Man City firmly in the lead in Champions League Group G with nine points. Copenhagen sink further to the bottom of the group by one point.

The course of the game

GOAL! The home team immediately opened the scoring when the match had only been underway for seven minutes. Erling Haaland is the lead actor.

The Norwegian striker kicked Joao Cancelo’s lure in the penalty area. Manchester City leads 1-0.

Haaland nearly scored his second goal 10 minutes later with a header under the goal. The ball can be caught by FC Copenhagen goalkeeper Kamil Grabara.

Another brilliant save is that of Grabara in the 22nd minute. This time he parried Haaland’s powerful shot with one hand.

Grabara flew again to save his opponent a minute later. He flew or saved Jack Grealish’s measured kick in the penalty area.

GOAL! Haaland scored twice against Copenhagen in the 33rd minute. He kicked the ball into the vomit of Sergio Gomez’s kick which was pushed back by Grabara. Man City away 2-0.

GOAL! Man City broke Copenhagen’s gate again later. Davit Khocholava scored an own goal after missing Sergio Gomez’s low.

Man City’s 3-0 score lasted until half time.

PENALTY! Manchester City took a penalty nine minutes into the second half. Aymeric Laporte was dropped by Stamenic in the forbidden box.

GOAL! Riyad Mahrez, who has advanced as Man City’s executor, has done his homework perfectly successfully. The score changed to 4-0.

GOAL! Man City scored again in the 76th minute. This time it was Alvarez’s turn to successfully break through in Copenhagen’s goal. The 5-0 score for The Sky Blues lasted until the end of the long whistle.
