An SUV that outperforms the Kodiaq with an in-line six, rear-wheel drive and solid equipment for CZK 1.25 million? A fair offer by today’s standards!
A few months ago the Japanese delighted us with news we didn’t even want to believe. SUV Mazda CX-60 in fact, in addition to the plug-in hybrid drive, it also equips it with six cylinders! Yes, a new full-fat engine with a volume of 3.3 liters at a time when we are happy to preserve some of that “blown” two-liter. After the plug-in version, we also learn the prices of the six-cylinder diesel engine. And we find them cute!
The R6 unit is available in two different specifications. Execution and SkyActiv D200 it has an output of 147 kW (200 hp) and 450 Nm of torque. It reaches 100 km / h in 8.4 seconds and can reach a top speed of 212 km / h. An eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive (!) Are standard. Harder e-Skyactiv D254 it has an output of 187 kW (254 hp) and 550 Nm of torque. This is enough to accelerate to 100 km / h in 7.4 seconds and a top speed of 219 km / h. The more agile diesel is also linked to an eight-speed automatic gearbox, but with 4×4 drive.
The basic six-cylinder engine is available in four equipment lines (as a plug-in hybrid): Prime-line, Exclusive-line, Homura and finally Takumi, a more powerful variant up to three superior. But let’s go back to the origins First line, which starts with an amount of CZK 1,257,590. At the same time, it’s not about a girl. Such a car basically has 18 “aluminum wheels, LED lighting technology, two-zone automatic air conditioning, rear parking sensors, cruise control, leather steering wheel and gearshift head or digital radio reception with eight speakers.
Superior equipment Exclusive line starts at 1,297,990 CZK and also offers 20 “aluminum wheels, line of LED design lights, color head-up display, front parking sensors, rear parking camera, automatic switching of high and low beam, access without key, steering wheel and heated front seats or air conditioning vents for rear passengers Homura (starting at CZK 1,401,990) also has black rear-view mirrors, body-colored wheel arches, black leather seats, ambient lighting, ventilated front and heated rear seats and electric steering adjustment.
At the top of all there is the equipment Takumi from 1,440,990 CZK. As standard, it has premium design elements in the Japanese concept, wooden interior, white Nappa leather upholstery, electrically adjustable front seats or a chrome front grille. The metallic or pearl paint costs CZK 19,500, the panoramic roof CZK 35,000. For 74,000 CZK you also get, for example, the Comfort + Sound package with Bose sound system, twelve speakers, electric trunk lid opening, tinted rear windows, a 360-degree camera or a wireless smartphone charger.
Mazda launched the order system as early as September, the first six-cylinder CX-60 parts are expected to appear in the Czech Republic in the first quarter of 2023. All cars are covered by a standard six-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty.
