Recall that last year the developers of The Sinking City seized a game from a number of stores due to a dispute with a publisher Nacon… The creators of the game accused the company of violating the terms of the agreement and not paying about a million euros in royalties.-
The publishing house denied these accusations, statedthat “Frogwares aims to discredit Nacon in the eyes of both the public and professionals.”-
Last month The Sinking City returned on sale after the relevant court order. On Steam, the game could be bought for 3,749 rubles, but after a few hours the game again removed from store sale Valve.-
Now The Sinking City is back on Steam and until March 5 is on sale at a 60% discount for only 399 rubles, but, as we mentioned above, the developers from Frogwares recommended not buying this version.
Formerly Frogwares released the PlayStation 5 version of The Sinking City, which I developed and published myself. However, due to the lawsuit with Nacon, owners of the game on the PlayStation 4 will not be able to get a free update to the nextgen.-
