North Korean leader Kim Kong Un confirmed the improvement of his country’s combat and nuclear capabilities, calling for readiness to carry out nuclear attacks at any time possible.

During his supervision of the North Korean army’s nuclear tactical exercises, aimed at sending strong warnings to allies, Kim accused the United States and South Korea of expanding joint military exercises that include US nuclear assets, according to the official Korean News Agency.

North Korean exercises witnessed a test of a ballistic missile that flew 800 km, before hitting the target at an altitude of 800 meters, under a tactical nuclear attack scenario.

For its part, the South Korean military said that North Korea launched a short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) towards the East Sea on Sunday, in another apparent provocation to protest the ongoing joint Korean-US military exercises.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) It monitored the launch from Dongchang-ri district on the west coast, adding that the missile flew about 800 kilometers before falling into the sea.
