One pria WN China, XT (33), was stabbed by a man in Cengkareng, West Jakarta. Stabbing suspected triggered by love problems.
The police have arrested the perpetrator of the stabbing, a man with the initials LQ who is also a Chinese citizen. The police are still investigating the perpetrator.
“We have secured the perpetrators, and they are in the process of being investigated,” said AKP’s Crime Unit Head, Avrilendy, to reporters on Sunday (19/6).
Victim suddenly stabbed
The stabbing took place in a warehouse in Cengkareng, West Jakarta on Friday (17/6) night.
The incident was caught on CCTV. The victim at that time was playing with his cellphone in a room similar to a warehouse.
“Suddenly a man wearing a red shirt appears bring a knife wrapped in yellow plastic,” said Avrilendy.
The suspect then stabbed the knife in the victim’s back. Two other men then intervened so that the perpetrator’s action was immediately stopped.
Victims of Back Injury
Avrilendy said her party had received a report regarding the incident. The victim was reported to have suffered injuries to his back as a result of the incident.
“He reported (to the West Jakarta Metro Police) that he had suffered a stab wound to the left back side of the back by one of his colleagues,” said Avrilendy.
