On November 17, Sony Pictures released the second trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, which turned viewers’ expectations of the new comic strip upside down.
As it became clear from the first trailer, the beloved hero Peter Parker will suffer due to the fact that his identity is revealed to society, and will turn to the magician Doctor Strange for help. The latter will read a spell that should make all inhabitants of the earth forget who Spider-Man is. However, things are not going according to plan and magic is tearing down the barriers between the universes, which is why the villains who fought with Spiderman in the early films infiltrate the world of Marvel.
From the new trailer, we learned that the hero will understand what mistake he made and will try to fix everything. He will not want to fight villains unfamiliar to him and will try to send them back. On this path, he will even have to go against Doctor Strange and form an alliance with Doctor Octopus, no matter how funny it sounds. However, even a superhero cannot save everyone, everyone, as Peter admits at the end of the video.
“Now Peter is facing the greatest test. And it will forever change not only his own future, but also the future of the entire multiverse, “- said in the description of the trailer.
It is possible that Parker will never be able to completely close the spatial gap, and through it in the future X-Men and other comic book heroes will enter the Marvel films.
The video confirmed that of the franchise’s past villains, the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Sandman and Lizard will appear on screen. Venoma, as well as the spiders of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, the trailer still did not light up.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit the movies on December 15th.
