Master and qualification group
The best 6 clubs from the basic round each play in the master group against everyone for the championship title and the international starting places. The other 6 clubs also play twice against relegation and qualification for the Europa League play-off in the qualification group.
points shared
The points from the basic round are halved, half points are rounded off. If two clubs are tied at the end of the final round and half a point has been rounded off in one of these clubs, this club will be ranked first. If neither or both clubs have been rounded down, the goal difference is used as the next decision criterion. If this is also the same, the other four existing decision criteria apply: goals scored, victories, away wins, direct duel.
Europa League play-off
After the final round, the champion, the runner-up, the third-place winner of the championship and the winner of the UNIQA ÖFB Cup have their international starting places fixed. Depending on whether the cup winner also ends up in an international starting position in the championship, there are different options as to which teams take part in the Europa League play-off. In general, the 6th of the master group or places 9 to 12 do not take part in the Europa League play-off.
The semi-finals in the Europa League play-off will take place on Wednesday, May 20th, the two finals on Saturday, May 23rd. or Tuesday, May 26th
