From 22:00 hours on Tuesday, the health barrier for the commune of Talcahuano began to rule, as a measure to stop the spread of covid-19 in the area and avoid taking more drastic measures.
The mayor of the Bío Bío region, Sergio Giacaman, indicated that they are meeting with the mayor of Talcahuano, Henry Campos, at the entrance of Brisas del Sol to carry out controls.

It should be noted that despite being in the Talcahuano commune, the Mall Plaza del Trébol was exempt from this cord.
Regarding the operation of the collective locomotion, the Seremi de Transportes, Jaime Aravena, indicated that only eight minibus lines will operate in the commune port and that the buses will continue with their normal routes.
Aravena affirmed that those who need to leave Talcahuano using public transportation may do so in the Banco Estado sector, located on Avenida Colón.
In the detail, he specified that the buses that will circulate within the commune will reach the population located at that point and will return, so that people can descend there. Immediately afterwards, they will go through the sanitary control of that sector and they will be able to get on another taxibus in the corner of the Equestrian Club towards Concepción.
