The medical team is enjoying a big leap in their wages within the new health insurance system, which is one of the most important achievements of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, after he launched the comprehensive health insurance system in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and has already begun to apply the increase in the medical professions allowance, which was recently approved by President El-Sisi.
The detailed salary table for all medical teams, “Doctors – Pharmacists – Nursing – Technicians – Physiotherapy”, with different specializations and degrees.
The salaries of doctors in the new health insurance system range from 11,500 to 25,300 pounds, compared to 42 separate or continuous hours of work in the pool.
– Resident doctors get from 10: 12 thousand pounds per month.
– A resident doctor gets rare specialties “care, anesthesia, emergency” from 11: 13 thousand pounds per month.
– The specialist receives from 14: 16 thousand pounds per month.
A critical specialization specialist gets from 15: 17 thousand pounds per month.
– A consultant doctor gets from 17: 22 thousand per month.
A newly graduated dentist gets 11,500 EGP salary within the new system
As for a recently graduated dentist, he will receive a salary of 11,500 pounds within the new system, while a master who has more than 5 years of experience gets a salary of 13,800 pounds, and for pharmacists, a recent graduate will get a salary of 9200 pounds, and a pharmacist who has a master’s or more experience will get From 5 years, a salary of 11,500 pounds.
As for physical therapy, a recent graduate will receive a salary of 9200 pounds, while a master who has a master’s or more than 5 years experience will get a salary of 11,500 pounds, and a recent graduate nursing specialist will get a salary of 9200 pounds, while a nursing member with experience from 3 to 5 Years at 10,300 pounds.
Dr. Ihab Al-Taher, a member of the Medical Syndicate, said that the health insurance system included many positives, and not only increasing the salaries of doctors, but actually renewing and developing hospital (buildings) in Port Said according to quality standards.
He confirmed that human resources and quality departments have been created, and a better organization has been made for the method of patient waiting and examination, indicating that the new incentives have already been disbursed according to the schedule announced by the Ministry of Health.
Regarding the start of the application of the increase in the medical professions allowance, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Zayat, a member of the Medical Syndicate, welcomed the start of the application of the law regulating the affairs of members of the medical professions, which stipulates an increase in the allowance of medical professions retroactively. He explained, in exclusive statements to Al-Watan, that the medical professions allowance will be disbursed, retroactively, from last March, by 4 months, indicating that the decision included doctors working in university hospitals and health insurance workers, as the union demanded.
Al-Zayat emphasized that the passage of the law in general is a positive step in achieving the demands of doctors and the medical team.
